This policy explains what personal information Lightray AI, a practice of Light Ray Solutions, collects through lightrayai.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Only what you send us. If you complete the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, the enquiry type you selected, and whatever you write in the message field. We also record which page the form was submitted from, so we know what prompted the enquiry.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, sensitive categories of personal information. Please do not send confidential client data, credentials, or regulated records through the enquiry form.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to run the resulting engagement. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add enquiries to a marketing list or automated email sequence.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, records are retained for as long as needed to deliver and account for that work, and then for the period our tax and legal obligations require.

Who else sees it

Form submissions pass through the automation and email providers we use to operate the business. Those providers process the data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not transfer enquiry data to any other third party.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. Where analytics are enabled, they are used to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. Nothing on this site attempts to identify you personally as you browse.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by contacting us through the contact page. We will act on the request within a reasonable period and confirm when it is done. California residents have specific rights over personal information, described by the California Privacy Protection Agency; we honour those requests regardless of where you live.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, which is another reason we keep collection to the minimum.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above. Because the site is small and its data handling is deliberately simple, we expect changes to be rare.
